Welcome to Galaxy Arts Center!
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Galaxy Arts Center (“we,” “us,” “our”), including but not limited to music lessons, live performances, arts activities, and summer camp programs. By enrolling in our programs, attending our events, or using our website (classes.galaxyarts.org, the “Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Enrollment & Registration
◦ All participants must complete a registration form before attending any programs.
◦ A non-refundable deposit or full payment may be required to secure a spot in classes, lessons, or camps.
◦ For minors, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and provide accurate medical, allergy, and emergency contact information.
2. Payments, Fees & Refunds
◦ Program fees must be paid in full before the start of the program unless a written payment plan agreement is in place.
◦ Refund Policy: Deposits are non-refundable. Tuition refunds for cancellations are only available if requested more than 14 days before the program start date, minus the deposit. No refunds will be issued after a program has commenced.
◦ Reschedule/Cancellation Policy: Students may reschedule private lessons by providing at least 24 hours notice. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice are forfeited.
◦ Galaxy Arts Center reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or combine classes, lessons, events, or programs due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of our cancellation, a full refund or credit will be issued.
3. Attendance & Conduct
◦ Students are expected to attend scheduled lessons and activities punctually.
◦ Repeated absences or tardiness without prior notice may result in removal from the program without a refund.
◦ Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. Galaxy Arts Center reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior adversely affects the experience or safety of others, without refund.
4. Health, Safety & Medical
◦ Participants with contagious illnesses (e.g., fever, COVID-19) must not attend in-person classes or events.
◦ Parents/guardians are responsible for informing staff in writing of any allergies, medical conditions (e.g., asthma, epilepsy), physical or learning disabilities, or special needs that may affect participation.
◦ In case of a medical emergency, staff will attempt to contact the provided emergency contacts and/or seek emergency medical services. By enrolling, you authorize Galaxy Arts Center to obtain necessary emergency medical treatment for the participant.
5. Media Release
◦ Galaxy Arts Center may photograph, record, or videotape its programs and events for promotional use (e.g., website, social media, brochures). By participating, you grant us permission to use such media containing your or your child’s image/likeness unless you provide written withdrawal of consent to Hello@galaxyarts.org.
6. Property & Damages
◦ Participants are responsible for any damage to Galaxy Arts Center property, equipment, or facilities caused by negligence or willful misconduct.
◦ Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the participant. Galaxy Arts Center is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
7. Program Changes
◦ Galaxy Arts Center reserves the right to modify schedules, instructors, curriculum, or activities as necessary.
8. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
◦ Participation in arts, music, and performance activities involves inherent risks of physical injury. You voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with these activities.
◦ To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Galaxy Arts Center, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from participation in our programs, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Privacy
◦ Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy (detailed below).
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
◦ These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
◦ Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation or mediation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
